When I got out of high school I was 6 ft 2 inches and weighed 176 pounds. I was a tall toothpick.
And I had a ferocious appetite and ate tons of food on a daily basis. I ate 3 times as much as any fat person ate. More then 3 times as much. And I didn’t put on a single ounce for over 20 years.
Does that sound like calories make you fat?
If calories make you fat why was I was eating 3 times as many calories as any fat person and yet I was as skinny as a toothpick. There is obviously something wrong with this theory.
If you are fat it is not because you eat like a pig.
We all know people who “seem” to eat like pigs but never gain weight. They don’t “seem” to eat like pigs. The DO eat like pigs and never gain an ounce. I know because I was one of them.
You’ve heard some people say they can’t put on weight. It’s true I was one of them and I ate like a pig without ever putting on weight.
Are you getting the idea?
Some people are able to eat huge amounts of calories every single day of the year, plenty of sweets too, and never get fat.
It’s NOT calories that make you fat it’s something else.
Are you following me? Does it make sense that it’s NOT the calories that make people fat it’s something else?
What is it? We just discussed an explanation on the last blog post. Let’s discuss some more on the next posts.
Until then here’s a guy that explains it well (rated #1 on Google) just click on this link Low Calorie Diets DON’T Work.
finally someone smart enough to ask this question. i follow you, because i’ve noticed that calories are actually not the solution. i’m a girl, 17 years old. 5 ft 4 and 106 lbs. to tell you the truth i actually used to be a bit overweight because i was on anti-depressants and they made me gain weight. after i stopped taking meds, i lost about 15 lbs without exercise, but then i started working out and lost about 20 more. i’ve been noticing how freaking hungry i get and i swear i can eat atleast 2,000 calories or 500 more in a day and i don’t gain anything. i once did an experience on myself for 5 days of eating 3,000 calories. to my surprise i didn’t gain weight and actually lost 1 lbs instead. i was freaking out. i have an overweight sister that actually eats less and she gains weight. what is going on? i’m sort of glad i can’t gain weight, but at the same time not being able to has made me curious. i’m also a vegan, but i don’t think that has much to do with it because there are some heavy vegans out there. i’m not going to push myself to eat so much anymore because i don’t want to get sick or something, but i’m usually so hungry. i wonder why that is……
Thanks guys for the comments,
Brigette it’s true what you say. As far as your ferocious appetite is concerned there are 3 main body types which I need to comment on in a future post. One type has almost no hunger at all yet the little they do eat makes them fat, there is another type that can eat a lot and never put on and ounce and a third type, like you and myself as well, have an absolutely ferocious appetite. This last type may have red or blond hair, or prematurely gray hair, or prematurely balding, medium build, etc etc the curvaceous beautiful blond also belongs in this category have the unforgiving, knife in the stomach appetite.
